The members of the Polo Fire Department had a breakfast April 18th,
2010. The donations that we received have been used to purchase 3
ventilation/rescue saws. We have purchased 2 STIHL Quick Cut saws and 1
STIHL Fire/Rescue Chain Saw. All 3 saws will be used for ventilation on fire
scenes and the Quick Cut saws will be used for cutting metal and concrete on
rescue scenes. With this purchase both our Engine and our Rescue/Engine will
each have a Fire/Rescue Chain Saw and a Quick Cut saw. Our Rescue/Engine
currently has 1 Fire/Rescue chain saw already on it. This saw was also
purchased with fundraiser money several years ago.
Our breakfast was a big success this year as it always is and we
owe that success to all the people and businesses that support us. The
members of the Polo Fire Department would like to extend a thank you to all
for your continued support.
